Becoming a mom has definitely made a huge difference in my life. While still having 9 months of planning for the new family arrival, you can never really expect how different (and difficult!) the parenting can be. Every day is a new challenge, a new discovery, a new chapter which my husband and I are experiencing. Today our baby boy is almost 9 months old and we are still learning how to be good “working parents” with the help of grannies, other family members and nursery 👪

I think every business owner struggles with switching off and while I am very good at taking breaks from social media, my mind can still be racing and I will often have a notebook in my hand ready to plan or note down something. It's something I am working on all the time and also really looking after myself as well. I wouldn't say I have overcome this but I am always trying to really listen to myself and what I need so that I can be the best version of myself in my business too.

My biggest challenge recently is work-time management. When I have a lot of work, I have lot less time and when I have time, I forget what I have to do! A simple trick, it takes 21days to make an activity a habit. Made a schedule, forced myself to stick to it and bingo!

One of my biggest challenges has been digital disruption and its growing impact on users. As I mentioned earlier that I am a huge fan of omni-channel marketing and I firmly believe that a brand can't maximize its share of voice without actively sharing content on existing and new social and digital platforms. But it's a time intensive job and there are some aspects that can't be automated and needs a human touch. I overcame this challenge by conducting a thorough research on every content sharing and social platform to understand it's target audience and started customizing my content to that audience.
