Evan Arancibia

Owner, EZ Consulting LLC

What’s your current position & how did you reach here?

Evan Arancibia - Owner. I've done consulting, helping funding companies get their fulfillment developed. Decided it was time to leave as only thing higher is to be the owner.

What will success look like for you in your work in the next few weeks?

Evan Arancibia - Success will mean new relationships and new partners for our company.

Which social media platform is working best for your brand at the moment? Why do you think that is?

Evan Arancibia - Facebook 100%. I network like crazy on there and it's great separating yourself from your business. The business has organic reviews from our customers and my personal page is where I try and answer as many questions about funding as I can in the dozens of sales groups/entrepreneur pages I'm part of which in turn attracts partners for the business.

What have you found to be the most effective marketing tactic/platform, beyond social media?

Evan Arancibia - Networking, networking, networking. It's free marketing.

What are you actively focused on learning about these days and how?

Evan Arancibia - I've been learning about online stores and how they work in the e-com space. I work with several coaches that refer clients to us when it comes to e-com that it's something I wanted to know more about to relate with my clients and add more value.

If you had the time to add one more project or tactic to your marketing, what would it be, and why?

Evan Arancibia - Develop a 6 week course on generating leads for the start-up funding space. That is my next to-do on the top of my projects.

What has been your biggest challenge recently and how did you overcome it?

Evan Arancibia - Biggest challenge personally was separating myself from the business. As business owners we want to be the one to hold on to everything in the business. Letting go and focusing on myself while trusting our processes and employees has been the best feeling ever. In return I've been able to work hard and generate more leads for our business because so. More importantly, I've been able to unwind and focus on what's more important in life.

What is your #1 tip for a newbie in marketing?

Evan Arancibia - Lately I've seen a lot of newbies thinking about all the software, tools, books, and processes that need to get done in order to start a business. I recommend you just start. There are dozens of ideas that you think may work but really the market will end up telling you what they need and want. Take yourself out of what you think clients want and sit back and listen. Write down your ideas and select just one and run with it! As you master this idea and grow it over time you can add new projects and ideas. Your mind will develop and your business will too.

What is a key metric you’re measuring these days, and why?

Evan Arancibia - My happiness! If i'm not happy, my business will suffer. Happiness is key, there's times when the business can be stressful and chaotic but that's part of the process. Usually on Sundays as I'm getting ready for bed I ask myself: "What is stressful right now, is there anything that has bothered me this week at work? How can I fix this, can it be fixed? What can I do to make the next week better" Asking these questions at night has helped me key in exactly what I need to do each week. By doing so it's helped my business grow and our staff is happier as well as our partners and customers!

How do you prioritize your tasks/projects for the day/week? Do you use any special methods or frameworks?

Evan Arancibia - Yes, I have tasks set up through the CRM everyday. Making sure you write out your tasks at the start of your day and at the end of your day to prep your next day.

If you could choose to implement only one marketing tactic for the next 3 months, what would you choose to do?

Evan Arancibia - Facebook networking

How have you / your brand been engaging with your customers/audience/users/fans lately?

Evan Arancibia - Yes absolutely, we call our clients several times. I personally call our clients as well after their done to thank them for their business.

What problem are you focused on solving for your customers/audience/users/fans? What is their biggest need that you (or your company) are helping with?

Evan Arancibia - Right now there is a massive lack of education when it comes to credit and funding. I take time to teach people about the funding and credit space to make sure people are educated when it comes to funding for their startups and even in their personal lives.

What are the best tips you were ever given when conducting a social media campaign?

Evan Arancibia - Test and adjust and test again. You always need to evolve when it comes to testing your social media. Listen to your audience and offer what they're asking for, not what you want for them.

Which tools do you use the most for tracking and managing the success of your marketing business?

Evan Arancibia - Zoho CRM, we have a super in depth automation set up through them and it's been incredible for our business tracking everything. With a click of a button I can pull any report I want and create the most unique reports to help the business stay healthy.
